Spidvid is for individuals who are passionate towards about defining the next era in video creation and production. Through connecting and collaborating, there is an open model that's transforming the way quality content is created and produced. Respecting accountability, individuals are credited and compensated for the time and talent they invest into each video project.
Who Spidvid is for is outlined in more detail below.
Creators – Are looking to lead and team up with talented individuals who can assist them in producing quality videos.
Producers – Are looking to connect with creators and professionals who have good vision and concepts that will interest a viewing audience. From start to finish, producers are depended upon to make things happen, and play an integral role in ensuring each video's success.
Directors – Are looking to lead a set and get the most out of actors.
Writers – Want to write scripts that have a good core story to build on.
Actors – Need to believe in a script or idea that motivates them enough to want to become an important character within a video.
Digital Cinematographers - A relatively new title for a cinematographer who works with digital equipment. Responsible for capturing video content during a shoot, and can be especially useful if the individual owns a high quality camera.
Editors – Require good video footage to work with, allowing them to put together videos that captures the creator's and producer's vision. Editors can work remotely and on many projects at once if desired.
Story Narrators – Have voices that are like “ear candy” to an audience, and help to give context and depth to videos. Very useful in animations, and to video's openings and endings.
Animation Artists – Are skilled at using 3D modeling software to overlay animated effects on top of videos. Many projects may not require these effects, but for those that do, these individuals will come in very handy.
Music Artists – Are looking for new opportunities to get their content spread into other mediums, so creators who are looking for background music will want to connect with artists who have audio that fits well into their videos.
Promoters/Marketers – Are individuals who have built up the asset of "social capital" on popular sites like Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, and Digg. Every successful video needs to be visible, has to attract attention, and begs for interaction, so this group of people can help add value to these important objectives.
